Contemporary Dominican artist
And the world transforms when they are crossed.
Cartographies of the Unseen
My work exists between lyrical abstraction and abstract expressionism.

I — The trace
Some works behave like maps, signals or diagrams attempting to translate impact, memory and repair.
II — The cycle
Together, they explore the complexity of human perception, trauma, memory and repair.
III — The direction
A zoom into fragmentation. A zoom out into structure.
IV — Selected work
Some works function as microscopic fields — cellular, explosive, visceral.

V — Series
01 / The Great Escape
Not about trauma, but about essentialism: the urgency of living, the vulnerability of being human and the fragility of existence. A human mark that comes before any geography.
Explore the work ↗02 / Rebirth
Rebirth answers with colour, expansion and return: not as forgetting, but as continuity after transformation.

VI — The artist
Aida Vásquez Yarull is a Dominican visual artist born in 1990. Through mixed media, color, texture, gesture and signs, she builds emotional maps and constellations of shared experience. Her practice inhabits the tension between chaos and stillness, fracture and repair, the intimate and the universal.
“I think of my paintings as emotional cartographies: fragments of a larger nervous system.”
